LinkedIn. A goldmine of connections, right? Except sifting through profiles feels more like panning for dust. Sales folks, founders chasing investors, freelancers seeking gigs – you get it. Endless scrolling. Generic connection requests. Wasted time.
You’re out there to sell, to connect, to grow. But LinkedIn lead generation can feel like a full-time job itself.
What if finding the right leads on LinkedIn was actually easy? No more endless hours. No more irrelevant connections. Just quality leads, sorted. That’s the idea behind Syndie.io. They’re making LinkedIn lead generation simple and effective. We interviewed Syndie’s founder, Shivashish Mishra, to learn how they’re making “LinkedIn leads sorted, without the fuss” a reality.

Syndie.io Founders
Shivashish Mishra, co-founder of Syndie.io, entered the world of startups with a keen insight into the time-sapping chaos of LinkedIn networking. With a background in marketing and finance, Shivashish had already scaled an agency to impressive heights, growing it from ground zero to $200,000. His experience gave him a front-row seat to the tedious dance of strengthening business connections on LinkedIn—a pain point he shared with countless others.
But Shivashish didn’t embark on this journey alone. He teamed up with Prakhar Pratap Mall, a maestro in design and UI. Prakhar is renowned for his out-of-the-box design approaches that have earned him multiple awards. Their team also includes Amarsh Jain, known both for his rapid tech skills and for his understanding of the sales cycle. Every tech challenge seemed to meet its match in Abhishek Jain, a gold medallist from IIT known for his deep technical acumen. Together, they formed a powerhouse.
Conceiving Syndie.io was born from the founders’ struggles at their previous design agency. Hours were squandered in the maze of LinkedIn, trying to pinpoint prospects worth pursuing. As they realised the market’s need, the idea of automation sparked. If they could automate their LinkedIn grind, why not build a solution for everyone else battling the same headache?
In those formative days, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Shivashish and his co-founders didn’t have all the answers. They talked to over 200 agencies worldwide, piecing together insights into what was missing in LinkedIn automation tools. By assembling a network of mentors like Sandeep Kumar and Nuo Jiang, who brought their expertise and support, the Syndie team turned gaps into game plans, setting the foundation for a service that soon began capturing industry attention.
Interview with Shivashish Mishra, Co-founder of Syndie.io
We had the chance to sit down with Syndie.io’s founder, Shivashish Mishra, to dig deeper into their approach. Here’s how the conversation went:
Q: Shivashish, could you explain in simple terms what Syndie.io actually does?
A: We help sales teams improve their LinkedIn lead generation. LinkedIn is great for connections, but finding the right connections for sales can be hard work. Syndie.io makes it easier to find quality leads on LinkedIn, without wasting time on irrelevant profiles.
Q: Who is Syndie.io designed for? Who is your ideal user?
A: We built Syndie.io for sales and marketing professionals who are actively using LinkedIn to find customers. That includes salespeople trying to hit targets, founders looking for investors, and freelancers searching for their next project. If you’re using LinkedIn to sell or grow your business, Syndie.io can help.
Q: What specific problem are you trying to solve for these people?
A: The main problem is time wasted on LinkedIn. People spend hours scrolling, sending generic connection requests, and sifting through profiles that aren’t a good fit. Syndie.io addresses this by making LinkedIn automation smarter and more personalised, leading to better conversion rates and higher quality leads. We want to help people get quality leads using just a basic LinkedIn Premium account.
Q: How does Syndie.io solve this problem practically? What’s the process?
A: Syndie.io automates the LinkedIn outreach process. Instead of spending fifteen minutes or more on each lead, with Syndie.io, it takes no time at all on your part. Our smart lead prospecting helps you connect only with leads relevant to your goals. We filter out the noise and focus on potential clients who matter to you.
Q: Tell us a bit about the team behind Syndie.io.
A: The founding team has Prakhar Pratap Mall, who leads Design and UI. He’s won awards for his design work. Amarsh Jain heads up Tech and Sales – he’s known for building quickly and selling effectively. Abhishek Jain is our Tech Lead, he’s excellent at managing application traffic. And myself, Shivashish Mishra, I look after Marketing and Finance. Before Syndie.io, Amarsh, Prakhar and I ran a design agency. Sandeep Kumar, the founder of Skill Global, also joined us and has been a great help. We also have support from Nuo Jiang, formerly at Huawei and now founder of AI Business Asia.
Q: What was the initial idea behind Syndie.io? What inspired you to start this?
A: It came from our own experience. Running our design agency, we spent so much time hunting for clients on LinkedIn. It was time-consuming and tedious. We realised this was something that could be automated. We figured if we felt this pain, others must too. So, we decided to build a solution.
Q: What were the early days of Syndie.io like? Were there any challenges?
A: Definitely. When we started, we knew LinkedIn automation was needed, but we weren’t sure what else people wanted. There were already other automation tools out there, and we wanted to be different. So, we spoke to over 200 agencies worldwide to understand their exact needs. This research was crucial in shaping Syndie.io.
Q: What makes Syndie.io different from other LinkedIn automation tools?
A: Personalisation is key. Many competitors use template-based connection requests. Syndie.io offers full personalisation. We analyse each lead based on your specific objectives to ensure you connect with relevant people and avoid irrelevant ones. We also integrate with more CRM tools than many other platforms. Plus, we have more engagement options, like commenting on a lead’s recent posts, to help you stand out.
Q: Has Syndie.io received any funding from outside investors?
A: Not yet, no external funding so far.
Q: What are your plans for the future of Syndie.io?
A: We’re planning to add even more features. We want to offer pre-qualified leads, alongside LinkedIn data, and provide contact details. Our aim is to become a one-stop B2B sales solution. We want to include features that aren’t yet available in the market.
Q: Can you give us an idea of Syndie.io’s current revenue and customer base?
A: We’re still very new, but we’ve reached around $2,000 in monthly recurring revenue. We currently serve about 50 customers each month on average.
Q: What kind of growth are you expecting?
A: We just launched, so we are focused on growth. We’re aiming to serve over 5,000 customers within our first year of operation.
Q: Any final thoughts on your journey with Syndie.io that you’d like to share?
A: Syndie.io is built to make life easier for people and free up their time to focus on their business. We’re keen to get feedback from your readers and hear their thoughts on our product.
Q: Finally, what advice would you give to someone thinking of starting their own business?
A: Before you even start building anything, talk to your potential customers. Discuss your idea with them. Understand their needs, what price they’d be willing to pay, and if there’s real demand for your product. This is what we did with Syndie.io, and it meant we had people asking about our product, rather than us having to push it on them. It’s much better to have a pull response than a push approach.
Q: Are there any interesting statistics about the LinkedIn market that are relevant to Syndie.io?
A: Yes, LinkedIn has over 200 million premium users. These are all potential customers for us, people who are serious about using LinkedIn for professional purposes.
Feedough’s Take on Syndie.io
From my viewpoint, Syndie.io is onto something interesting. The issue of LinkedIn lead generation being time-consuming is real. Many businesses struggle with this. Syndie.io’s focus on making it simpler is smart. Personalisation is a big plus. Templates often feel generic, so their approach could really stand out. They’re tackling a clear problem in the sales and marketing space.
Looking ahead, the challenge for Syndie.io will be standing out in a crowded market. Lots of tools promise LinkedIn automation. They need to keep showing how they are different and better. Focusing on genuine personalisation and ease of use will be key. If they can keep delivering on their promise of ‘leads sorted, without the fuss’, they could see strong growth. The future looks promising if they stay focused on solving that core user problem effectively.
