All you need to do is type a command like "Rephrase the content above" and Jasper will do just that - It'll take your content and rewrite it in a better way, taking into consideration the context, grammar, and flow.

However, when comparing it to other AI content writers on the market, Jasper falls a bit short when it comes to flexibility. Other players like ClosersCopy and Frase lets you create your own frameworks using examples. For example, you can enter your existing emails as prompts and ask those tools to write a similar email for you.

Jasper lacks this feature.

• Banned terms: You can't use Jasper to write content that's in violation of GPT-3's terms of service. That includes writing about sensitive topics, adult content, illegal drugs, or anything else that might be considered offensive.

Found this really exciting for blog posts that follow a certain pattern (review posts, listicles, etc.)
• Documents: This is where you write your long-form content like blog posts, articles, etc. Click here to get the list of all the documents you've written till now. You can also create a new document from scratch. The best part? It looks and work just like Google docs!
• AI Outputs: Jasper saves every piece of content you write with its AI so that you can access it later.

Use this to generate a full blog with intro, body, and conclusion. Even though the blog you get here isn't as researched or well written as one written by human content writer, a few edits can make it look like one.

Commands are what they sound like. You give an input to the AI and command it to perform a task. For example, you can post an email as an input and ask the AI to write a reply for you.

Recipes are like commands but with more steps. So, if you want to write an entire blog post, you can use a recipe with a series of commands. For example, you can write the title, introduction, and conclusion with separate commands. Then, Jasper will automatically fill in the middle with content it creates based on your input.

You can use any recipe among the tens of pre-made ones by Jasper or can create your own.

The only thing I felt missing was a community listing where users can share their custom recipes. It could have been a great way to get some ideas for new content.

Writing A Blog Post With Jasper

Would you believe if I say 50% of this blog post is written by Jasper?

Yes, you read that right.

I used Jasper's document writer to complete almost 50% of my sentences of this blog post.

Here's the flow of this blog -

First, I added a title and content description to help Jasper understand the context of this blog post. I also mentioned the tone of voice and language for better clarity.

The tool also made me optimise it better for SEO by mentioning keywords (jasper review, jasper AI review) that I wanted to target. It adds them organically in optimal ratio to the blog.

Once I was done with providing initial information, Jasper filled in the post with an introduction. Which followed some of my intervention along with the sections I wanted to add.

I wrote a few words as starter for the AI, which then completed my sentence and helped me finished this blog in article in a day.

Honestly speaking, the output is as good as the input you give. So, if you want to get better results, make sure to do your research well and give a well-defined prompt.

You can even use templates within the long-form content option to get better results. For example, for a listicle, use blog intro template for better introductions, followed by the listicle template.

The final result you get is what you're reading right now. And it's not half-bad, considering I just used the default settings.

Jasper Review - Our Verdict 

Overall, Jasper is a great AI-powered content writer that can help you write better content faster. The templates and quality of the output are good, and it's easy to use. If you compare the cost with human writers, it is actually a lot cheaper.

Given that the platform is also venturing into AI art, we think Jasper is definitely worth considering for your content needs.
