Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Web Content Writer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and strategizing engaging content that resonates with our entrepreneurial audience. You will conduct research on industry trends, develop compelling narratives, and optimize content to drive traffic and engagement. Your work will help shape the voice of Feedough and support our mission to simplify the startup journey for founders worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    • Write clear, engaging, and well-researched articles, blog posts, and other digital content tailored to the startup and entrepreneurial community.
    • Develop content ideas and outlines that align with Feedough’s voice and strategic objectives.
  • Content Strategy & Management:
    • Collaborate with the editorial team to plan and execute content calendars.
    • Assist in developing and refining content strategies that drive audience growth and engagement.
    • Manage content updates, ensuring all materials are current and optimized.
  • Research & Industry Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough research on the latest trends in startups, technology, business, and entrepreneurship.
    • Analyze data and insights to produce content that is both informative and actionable for our readers.
  • SEO & Analytics:
    • Implement SEO best practices in all content to improve organic search performance.
    • Monitor web analytics to assess content effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure content consistency and relevance.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input on content initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Proofread and edit your work to maintain high editorial standards.
    • Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Essential Skills & Experience:
    • Proven experience as a web content writer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing excellent writing and research skills.
    • Demonstrated ability in developing content strategies and conducting in-depth research.
    • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms.
    • Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong self-discipline and organizational skills.
